What another great weekend of competition and what a beautiful venue to dance in!! Our dancers did an amazing job on that stage once again. It is so rewarding to see our dancers up there placing with the studios they watched for years and aspired to be. Now, we are amongst those top studios. It just goes to show what hard work and perseverance can accomplish.
The dancing wasn’t the only thing that made the weekend so special to me! It warmed my heart so much to see all the moms that stepped up to help our dancers! I know there was a mom that helped my daughter tremendously during her quick changes. Megan had gotten extremely shaky and needed something to help her blood sugar and her stress level with having 4 quick changes. She needed someone other than me to help keep her on track and this mom did just that. I also heard from other moms similar stories of people stepping up to help their children this weekend. And what a great example for our children to see this kind of compassion and helpfulness! That’s what being a part of a team is all about. They say it takes a village – and it truly does!
