WOW!!!!!!! What an AMAZING week we had at the Kalahari!
All the dancers did a spectacular job – every performance was so good. I am extremely proud of our dancers. I had so many studios and teachers/owners approach me this week about our company.
We were complimented on our choreography, the fact that our dancers can “do it all” (all genres and do them well), and the fact that we don’t have a studio “super star” – that we have so many dancers highlighted in a variety of ways and every dance looks so different from the rest. Receiving the “Life of the Party” Award was also a great compliment to our studio/company.
I was told by the owners of Celebration and the judges how much our dancers have grown and improved over the last two years. Nuala wasn’t at Nationals last year but was there the year before and she was blown away by what she saw. This is validation that what we are doing with our program and requirements for our dancers is working. The growth we saw this year was astounding!
Attached are the results from the week. As I looked back when typing this up – I went through all the emotions again that I felt in the moment. I am so happy for our dancers and staff – all our hard work and dedication have paid off and will continue to do so in the future.
Thank you to all our parents for having your dancers prepared and ready to go for competition and classes. You kept things running smoothly and the dancers love the support 🙂
