I am so proud of our dancers and Envision Dance Company. We were very small, with our company of 49 dancers last week, but we were strong!
We did absolutely amazing as the talent was fabulous!
Here are some interesting/amazing facts:
- There were 1,040 acts last week at Nationals. We had 31 entries which is only .03% of the total acts there.
- Of our 31 entries, 13 (42%) placed in high score overall, we received 13 (42%) judges choice awards, we received 2 best in category wins and 6 of our dances made it into the Showdown and World Series – 2 of those won their divisions.
- Congratulations to Alvin, our amazing hip hop director – 2 choreography awards last week!
Those are some pretty amazing statistics considering how small we were in the large pool of entries!
