Drop off any new or gently used book!
Books will be donated to It’s Our Little Secret, a Huntley based non-profit organization comprising exclusively of volunteers dedicated to providing a voice to sexually, physically, and emotionally abused children and teens through advocacy, mentoring, and creative expression.
New books donated will help make up Journey Packs that are provided to each child going into the foster care system. In addition to their very own book, Journey Packs consist of a size appropriate suitcase, personalized name tag, blanket, hygiene kit, a pair of pajamas, Mingo the stuffed lion and a “You Can Be a Hero Too” book to help them overcome their fears of leaving their home environment.
Collection Days will be
October 1st – 31st
There will be labeled bins at the studio for everyone to drop off your books. Start collecting your books now and give back to our community!
